The following platforms have been added across all AI Supporting Scope tables and per-platform pages:

  • MT8875 — NPU 9.0 (MDLA 5.5), Android only

  • MT8883 — NPU 8.0 (MDLA 5.0 × 2), Android only

  • MT8893 — NPU 7.0 (MDLA 5.1 × 4), Android only

New Features

Yocto GAI Support

Generative AI is now supported on Yocto for the following platforms: Genio 360 / 360P, Genio 420, Genio 520, Genio 720, MT8875, MT8883, MT8893. Refer to TFLite(LiteRT) - Generative AI for details.

Yocto User Guides

  • llm_cmdline_tool — step-by-step guide for running LLM inference on Yocto using the built-in command-line tool.

  • vlm_cmdline_tool — guide for running VLM (Qwen3-VL) inference on Yocto.

Pre-built LLM Model Packages

Pre-compiled DLA packages are now available for download for the following models on Genio 360 / 360P / 420 / 520 / 720: gemma3-1b, llama3.2-1b, llama3.2-3b, llama3-8b, qwen2.5-1.5b, qwen2.5-3b, qwen2.5-7b, qwen3-1.7b.

Performance Data Updates

Analytical AI

  • Unified Android and Yocto performance data into a single table across all 11 platforms.

  • Added Analytical AI benchmark data for Genio 360 / 360P / 420 (Android and Yocto).

Generative AI

  • Added per-platform GAI performance pages for Genio 360, Genio 420, Genio 510 / 700, Genio 1200, MT8875, MT8883, MT8893.

  • Updated LLM and VLM benchmark data for Genio 360 / 420 / 520 / 720 (Android and Yocto).

  • Removed models no longer supported: gemma2-2b-it, baichuan-7b-int8-cache.

Improvements

  • Android-only Models: LLM models not supported on Yocto (llava1.5, medusa, vicuna), Stable Diffusion, and CLIP are now grouped in a dedicated Android-only Models section.

  • GAI table format: LLM Prompt Mode and Generative Mode merged into a single combined table.

  • ONNX Runtime: Added NPU Execution Provider support information for MT8875 / MT8883 / MT8893.
